I am so tempted to embarrass York with tons of old pictures.
I have not been on in so long. Nothing has really happened, so I don’t have any updates. Sooo, this is just a hello! I’m alive.
I’m just gunna post this again because he rocked that bandanna.
redfivestandingbye asked: Hey, I wanted to let you know about this podcast run by Adam Carolla's wife, Lynette, and Teresa Strausser. It's callled the Parent Experiment and it's basically a free "mom" podcast every Friday. I download for my uncle's wife, Seslie's mom, and she loves it because she actually goes to these mommy meetings run by a Burning Man group. Seslie is her first kid and she said she can really relate to the Parent Experiment. Lynette has twins that are 3 and Teresa has a 4 month old so there's a lot of range on the topics they talk about. I'm a big Adam Carolla fan and this podcast is pretty funny too and you might get some helpful info from it or just have some mom talk to listen to. I've listened to them and it's good stuff.
Anyways, I hope you're feeling alright and everything is going good =].
Aww, thanks! I’ll check it out.
Ohi, 16-ish-17-ish-year-old me.
You look like you haven’t showered in weeks.
What the fuck is that hair, man?
I took this!
I’m really impressed with how well Nigel’s been taking everything.
Between morning sickness and being crankier than usual, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was kinda put off. It’s been the opposite, though. He’s always here when I need him, and more then anything, he takes an interest in everything going on with me and the baby, which was something I really worried about.
I knew that I would be okay with it. I always wanted kids. There’s a really distinct difference between wanting kids and “wanting to play with a doll”. I want everything that goes along with parenting — the shit and the sunshine, as York would say (oh noes I leaked one of his phrases). Anyway, I wasn’t sure if Nigel was ready for it, so I’m just really proud that he does care and that he’s happy.
